A special collage series started with one piece of paper painted with a range of handmade botanical inks - indigo, home-grown marigold, cutch, avocado pits, pomegranate, and oak gall. The collages were then made one at time until the colored paper was used up - resulting in a total of 8 collages. The style of this collage is inspired by my quilt backs which are improvisational, geometric and often utilized to use up leftover fabric.
Each collage is roughly 5" x 6.5" on 8" x 10" Arches watercolor paper.

Quilts
Display quilts out of direct sunlight. Like with any textile or artwork, exposure to sunlight can cause fading.
Remove light dust by vacuuming the quilt with a stocking over the hose.
Professional cleaning is recommended for a deeper clean. Do not machine wash.
Artwork
Artworks should not be displayed in direct sunlight and framing with UV resistant plexiglass is recommended to maintain the color.
