The FOLK STRIPE pattern was inspired by a hand painted frame found in a folk art book. I reimagined the pattern by painting it as a stripe with indigo ink on watercolor paper. To create the Fall Hydrangea colorway, I digitally scanned the petals from a hydrangea plant in my yard to capture the beautiful red/purple color they turned in the autumn and applied that color to the Folk Stripe pattern.

Quilts
Display quilts out of direct sunlight. Like with any textile or artwork, exposure to sunlight can cause fading.
Remove light dust by vacuuming the quilt with a stocking over the hose.
Quilts can be hand washed or soaked in cool water and laid flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Professional cleaning is also an option. Do not machine wash or dry clean.
Artwork
Artworks should not be displayed in direct sunlight and framing with UV resistant plexiglass is recommended to maintain the color.
